Watercoloured Stripes Video Tutorial teamed with Perfect Mix Stamps

Hello!
I have a fun card and a video tutorial for you today :-D
As requested by Linda last week (thank you Linda!) I made a quick video for you sharing how I watercoloured the stripes, the same as on THIS CARD.
I did make a new card for you in the video which I'm going to share with you first today. It uses the punny stamps "Perfect Mix" which is a lovely retro style stamp set, take a look...
I stamped onto shimmer card using memento ink and then watercoloured these eggs.
TIP 1: This ink is waterproof but you do need to dry it completely before starting to watercolour (I like to give it a quick blast with a heat tool).
TIP 2: I also would recommend not using lots and lots of water, a drier watercolour brush works just as well and doesn't make the memento ink run ;-)
TIP 3: Memento is much kinder to your photopolymer stamps than staz on.
Loving these stripes right now, so summery! I want to paint them in so many different colours....
So, here is the video for you, it's only 6 minutes or so, so not a long one today :-)
I think this would be a great card for a man with these colours but you could of course pretty it up with some ribbon or twine and make it more feminine if you wanted to, don't you think?
OK, one last photo for today :-)
Please remember we are in the final few days of Sale-a-Bration so this is your last chance for freebies for every £45 spent. I'm ordering on Thursday if you are local and want to add to the order for free post...
Or if you have a lot of things on your wish list then until the 31st March you can choose 2 free stamp sets extra in your starter kit. Just sayin' ;-)

Well, that's all from me for today, back soon with more cards and ideas,
 'till then, happy stamping!
